Drywall Install Lead Technician

Are you ready to take your craftsmanship to the next level? We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lead Drywall Install Technician to join our team. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining a clean, professional job site and supporting team success.

• →Lead Drywall Installation: Oversee and perform the measurement, cutting, and installation of drywall panels on walls and ceilings with precision and efficiency.
• →Surface Preparation Oversight: Inspect and prepare surfaces to ensure they are level, secure, and ready for proper drywall application.
• →Finish Work Execution: Apply joint compound, tape, mud, and sand seams and joints to produce smooth, high-quality finishes.
• →Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and customer expectations.
• →Material & Tool Management: Coordinate material usage, load and organize tools and supplies, and ensure efficient job site operations.
• →Site Management & Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; ensure debris removal and proper disposal.
• →Team Leadership & Support: Provide guidance to team members, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• →Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure job site.
• →Documentation & Communication: Complete service documentation accurately and communicate job status updates to Install Coordinators and management.

• Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, stucco patching, and painting.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, methods, and safety practices.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to work independently and guide others when needed.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
