Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Security Engineer - F5 & PAM who will have strong experience in Fortinet technologies and a willingness to learn CyberArk or other Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. The primary responsibility of the Security Engineer will be to ensure the smooth operation, monitoring, and management of Fortinet/CyberArk devices and platforms.
Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of Fortinet/CyberArk devices.

Deploy, configure, and maintain F5 BIG-IP modules, including LTM (Local Traffic Manager), GTM (Global Traffic Manager), and ASM (Application Security Manager).

Implement advanced traffic management and load balancing techniques to optimize application performance and availability.

Develop and enforce F5 security policies, SSL offloading, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules to protect against threats.

Perform regular health checks, updates, and patching for F5 devices to maintain operational integrity and compliance.

Conduct site assessments and manage inventory related to security devices.
- →
Monitor and manage the solution to detect and identify cybersecurity incidents.

Provide comprehensive environment monitoring services.
- →
Review and implement attack surface management, security incident response processes, and procedures to mitigate and remediate threats.

Continuously assess and implement security concepts, latest threats, and vulnerabilities.

Utilize incident, event, problem, configuration, change, and release management practices to report, track, implement solutions, and resolve security-related issues.

Update security parameters recommended by Fortinet/CyberArk and as per business requirements.

Recommend and implement vendor best practices.

Maintain workflows, alerts, and notifications related to security incidents.

Ensure compliance with SLA levels and manage services including Fortinet Firewalls and CyberArk platform.

Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls according to best practices.
- →
Keep firewalls up to date with the latest software updates and patches.

Provide technical support to customer IT teams for firewalls.

Support security audits of Fortinet firewalls to identify potential risks.

Optimize and perform performance tuning on security devices.
- →
Transfer knowledge and document firewall configurations.
- →
Provide support options including onsite, phone, online chat, email support, and onsite support.

Perform health checks and generate log reports for security devices.
