Senior Product Designer

Highway is a fintech company focused on building banking products. We have a highly motivated and skilled team with an excellent track record in finance and technology. By using the best technology and our expertise in finance and banking we have built FinTech solutions that allow our customers to embed financial services into their products. 

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about crafting intuitive and user-centered digital experiences across our fintech products. You'll be responsible for understanding user needs, shaping meaningful interactions, and collaborating closely with product and development teams to deliver exceptional design outcomes. 

 Responsibilities:    

• Own UX processes from research to design delivery across various fintech products. 

• Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, and other UX research practices. 

• Translate research into clear user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. 

• Promote user-centered design principles within the product development process. 

• Use AI tools and prompt engineering (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance research, ideation, and documentation. 

• Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to bring designs to life. 

• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of design systems and best practices. 

 

Qualifications:    

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with experience in banking or fintech products strongly preferred. Experience designing other complex digital platforms will also be considered.

• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. 

• Experience using AI tools in design workflows is a plus. 

• Understanding of prompt writing for ChatGPT or similar tools. 

• Solid portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and user-focused design. 

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. 

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus. 

• Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams is preferred. 

• Familiarity with front-end development. 

• Design system management experience. 

Working Hours and Terms

 

Working Hours: from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. accordingly. 

Workdays: Monday to Friday (5 working days). 

Hybrid Schedule: 52 days per year, equivalent to one remote workday per week.
