The Senior HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for the Pacific Northwest Region and other regions as needed. This role manages employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation, and compliance for the region. The Senior HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted resource for employees, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop, implement, and manage HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
- →Partner with the recruitment team with selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
- →Accountability for improving key HR metrics including leading reviews with the business including identifying risk and implementing corrective actions.
- →Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession management, and organizational development initiatives.
- →Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations, union labor relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- →Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- →Ensure compensation administration is aligned with organizational strategy, market data, and internal equity, supporting effective talent retention, and pay-for-performance outcomes.
- →Coordinate employee and management training, development, and engagement initiatives to strengthen skills and improve retention.
- →Lead HR projects such as policy reviews, drive adoption of HR technology to improve efficiency and the employee experience and accountability for culture-building programs.
- →Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports, and analyze HR metrics to drive data-based decision-making.
- →May supervise and develop HR staff to ensure excellent service delivery.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification such as PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in employee relations, union labor relations, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Union experience highly desirable
- Intermeidiate to advanced EXCEL required
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (UKG, Oracle Fusion, JDE) and Microsoft Office Suite.
