Responsibilities

→Instruct students off campus at our clinical sites and/or in a lab setting.
→Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
→Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
→Supervise and orient students to the clinical site as well as to all applicable policies and procedures.
→Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing valuable feedback.
→Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Hondros College of Nursing follows the requirements set by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and the states in which our campuses operate.
Two or more years full-time work experience as a RN (or part-time equivalent).
Active OH RN license that has never been encumbered
Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
Current (or ability to obtain) American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

General Credentialing Requirements:

Applicants selected and receiving an offer of employment will be required to complete key credentialing requirements for clinical placements prior to being cleared for start. Full detailed information is provided at time of offer. A summary of requirements includes:

Providing copies of official transcripts for all degrees earned
Providing a copy of current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS CPR card
Completion of a physical form (from within the last 12 months)
Immunization documentation for:

Hepatitis B
MMR
TDAP/Tetanus
TB (2 step)
Varicella
FLU (October 1 – April 1 hires)

Our defined compensation structure is market competitive and is built to reward performance. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $69,400.00 to $93,700.00. We take a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including but not limited to: job and level hired into, location, skill set; experience and training; peer compensation and other business and organizational needs. This range is subject to change.
