Firmware Engineer, Commercial Systems Description - We're looking for Software/Firmware Engineers with the following expertise. \- BIOS development on AMD x86 platform \- Windows OS Driver development \- Project and technology management The responsibilities will include * Provide domain-specific expertise to drive the driver/OS/firmware (BIOS/EC) engineering development and implementation process for overall software/firmware perspective. * Lead multiple project teams of other software/firmware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, triage and integration. * Manage and expand relationships with internal and external development partners on software/firmware design and development; ensure progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule. * Communicate software/firmware development progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules. * Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and quality activities in the software/firmware development process.
