The Junior Officer – Audit & Compliance supports the Senior Audit Officer in executing fieldwork across Fixed Asset, Campus, HR, and Event audits. The role focuses on physical evidence gathering, document collection, on-site verification, and audit logistics, enabling the Audit Lead to focus on strategic oversight and reporting.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Assist the Senior Audit Officer in fieldwork for Fixed Asset, Campus, HR, and Event audits.
- → Conduct on-site physical asset verification and maintain accurate verification records.
- → Collect, organize, and file audit documentation and supporting evidence.
- → Perform pre-event vendor validation including food, catering, and equipment inspection.
- → Execute post-event reconciliation and ensure all audit checkpoints are completed.
- → Prepare audit work papers, flag discrepancies, and escalate findings to the senior officer.
- → Track follow-up items and monitor resolution of flagged audit issues.
- → Handle audit logistics including scheduling site visits and coordinating with relevant departments.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or operational audit roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with audit tools or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Exposure to physical asset verification, event audits, vendor checks, or catering inspection is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently in the field.
