JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations in accordance with SABIC standards, maintenance strategies, and HSE requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Job Planning & Preparation
Develop detailed and accurate job plans covering the full scope of work, including manpower requirements, tools, equipment, materials, spare parts, safety precautions, and estimated task durations to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
2. Work Order Coordination & Prioritization
Coordinate closely with maintenance supervisors, engineers, and operations teams to review, prioritize, and schedule work orders based on operational urgency, equipment criticality, and available resources.
3. Resource Optimization & Scheduling
Prepare preventive and corrective maintenance schedules aimed at maximizing equipment availability, optimizing manpower utilization, and minimizing plant downtime while meeting production targets.
4. Systems & Documentation Management
Maintain and update accurate planning data, job plans, maintenance history, and work order records within SAP PM or a similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support effective decision-making and audits.
5. HSE Compliance & Safety Assurance
Ensure all maintenance planning and execution activities comply with SABIC Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, including Permit to Work (PTW) procedures, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
QUALIFICATION
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
