QA/QC – Painting / Surface Protection - Qatar

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector – Painting to ensure quality control of blasting and painting works for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of coating systems and hold BGAS Level 2 certification.

  Inspect surface preparation activities (blasting, cleaning, profiling)

• →

  Verify coating application as per project specifications

• →

  Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, DFT, etc.)

• →

  Conduct inspections and testing as per approved ITP

• →

  Prepare and review inspection reports and documentation

• →

  Ensure compliance with client standards and international codes

• →

  Coordinate with site team and client representatives

• →

  Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions

• →

  Maintain QA/QC records and documentation

• →

  Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards

• →

  Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) – Mandatory

• →

  Experience: 15–18 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector mandatory)

• →

  Certification: BGAS Level 2 (Mandatory)

• →

  Strong knowledge of blasting, coating systems, and inspection procedures

• →

  Familiar with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS)

• →

  Experience in DFT measurement, surface profile testing, and holiday testing

• →

  Ability to interpret project specifications and ITPs

• →

  Good documentation and reporting skills
