Intermediate Bookkeeper (0010-0404)

• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• →Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• →Maintain general ledgers and ensure accurate data entry.
• →Assist with preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• →Support payroll processing and compliance requirements.
• →Prepare BAS, IAS, and other regulatory submissions under supervision.
• →Investigate discrepancies and resolve financial data issues.
• →Communicate with clients to collect information or clarify details.
• →Support senior bookkeepers and accountants with end of month tasks.

• 2-5+ years of proven experience in Australian bookkeeping, ideally at an intermediate level.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency with cloud based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Good communication skills when working with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Relevant bookkeeping or accounting certification is preferred.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
