Technical Officer - Primary Electrical Design Drafter

We can’t wait for you to join our team as a Technical Officer - Primary Electrical Design Drafter and to bring your fresh perspective to the team. 

A key focus of the role is the detailed design drafting of high voltage primary systems, including: 

• Substations, equipment and layouts 

• Large scale Renewable developments (Pumped Hydro, Solar, Wind, BESS) 

• Electrical, structural and civil drawings 

• Distribution, transmission and generation assets 

• Preparation of preliminary drawings, sketches and final drawings of primary systems using CAD (2D and 3D). 

You will work with and actively contribute to an effective and experienced team who will help you further develop your skills and knowledge.

• Good working knowledge with 2D or 3D CAD software (Autodesk / Inventor / MicroStation / SolidWorks / other). 

• Minimum 1 year experience or similar 

• Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent (or higher) 

• Previous experience in an engineering design consultancy environment preferred. 

• Previous experience working on electrical utility projects.
