The Senior Production/Operations Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of operational activities that enable successful program delivery. Working collaboratively with program leadership, project teams, and government stakeholders, this role oversees day-to-day operational processes, coordinates value stream activities, supports workforce readiness initiatives, and identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency. The Senior Production/Operations Specialist contributes to workflow optimization, process standardization, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure contract objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience supporting program operations, business operations, healthcare operations, process improvement, or operational management initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing operational activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to oversee multiple operations at once, delegate tasks, communicate clearly and respectfully, and evaluate performance metrics.
  • Experience developing reports, managing day-to-day operations, and interacting with cross-functional teams to support business operations and executive decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions and presenting technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work with / manage others in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

 

  • Experience supporting Federal Government programs, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), or other federal healthcare organizations.
  • Experience supporting healthcare transformation, digital health, healthcare technology, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting operational planning, value stream management, workflow optimization, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting organizational change management, workforce enablement, or operational readiness initiatives.
