This will be a Hybrid role with the expectation of working in the office 3 days per week.
Location: Neuroscience Center
This is a highly visible, executive-level administrative role supporting the Department Chair and two additional senior leaders. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage complex priorities in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Responsibilities

- →Oversee and maintain the Chair’s calendar, including complex scheduling
- →Support department events and meeting planning
- →Organize and facilitate department meetings
- →Provide comprehensive administrative support to three senior leaders
Provides high-level administrative and technical support to departmental leaders and teams across IU Health. Operates with minimal supervision and is responsible for managing complex workflows and supporting departmental or enterprise-level initiatives, including coordination, tracking, and reporting across multiple stakeholders.
Mentors junior and intermediate administrative staff, including onboarding and training. Assists with the preparation of high-quality presentations, reports, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders. Serves as a liaison between leadership, staff, and external partners to ensure timely communication and follow-up.
Requirements

- 4–6 years of relevant administrative experience in a healthcare or complex organizational environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and handling sensitive and confidential information
- Experience working in a matrixed organization or highly complex work environment preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical terminology for clinically focused roles
