Health & Wellness Center Manager - The Wellness Center

• →Provide oversight, administrative direction and guidance to staff aligning within the department 
• →Demonstrates consistent ability to work cooperatively with clients, families, consultants, and community agencies, as well as therapists, therapy assistants, aides, student interns and volunteers 
• →Continual assessment and evaluation of client needs to develop annual schedules, activities, and programs that will include a range of revenue producing events 
• →Supervision of wellness activities and evaluates performance of each department staff member 
• →Implementation and interpretation of facility policies
• →Creation of procedural alignment with facility policies 
• →Regular documentation and audits to ensure compliance with policy and regulations 
• →Instruction and training staff in areas of customer service, hospitality, infection control, cleaning, safety and personnel policies 
• →Maintains employee records on in-service education training completion and attendance of each staff member 
• →Assists in budget preparation and establishes profit goals as well as provides input on staffing needs 
• →Other duties as assigned 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is required

• Experience and understanding of business and a passion for fitness
• Experience in marketing and sales is highly desired

• Physical demands - lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. (occasionally); 35 lbs. (frequently); and 16 lbs. (constantly) from varied heights (floor to overhead)
• Occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, reaching (overhead and forward); kneeling, climbing, balancing, standing, walking and sitting
• Manual finger dexterity for grasping, handling and manipulating
• Use of both hands and arms are required to perform with dexterity of various tasks
