As a Senior Engineer Quality Engineering in our Quality & Excellence
team uncover the root causes behind every
single error, drive transformational
improvements, and implement forward-thinking solutions to ensure our products

reliability, and performance.
Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Serve as the Quality Engineer for assigned
product technologies and processes, ensuring compliance with quality
requirements and customer expectations. Ensure quality performance, process
stability, and successful qualification throughout Technology Transfer and
Technology Qualification activities. Lead Deviation Management and Complaint
Management activities within the assigned area of responsibility, demonstrating
strong leadership in driving and managing projects of varying complexity and
scale. Facilitate and lead structured
problem-solving activities using methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D, and 5 Why
Analysis to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and
preventive actions. Moderate FMEA reviews and risk assessments
for new qualifications, process releases, and technology implementations to
ensure robust risk mitigation. Review and approve quality-related
procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards, operational
requirements, and business objectives. Drive continuous quality improvement
initiatives by identifying process gaps, enhancing process capability, and
implementing sustainable corrective actions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional
teams, including Technology, Production, and Business Division, to achieve
quality, reliability, and productivity targets. Monitor quality performance indicators,
analyze trends, and proactively initiate improvement actions to enhance process
robustness and product quality. Support internal and external audits,
customer visits, and quality assessments by providing technical expertise and
ensuring compliance with applicable quality management systems Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in
Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Material Engineering,
or an equivalent engineering or scientific discipline Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional
experience in the semiconductor wafer fabrication industry. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in
the qualification, characterization, and release of Silicon (Si) and Wide
Bandgap (WBG) technologies, including Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride
(GaN) processes and equipment. Proven ability to apply structured
problem-solving methodologies and quality tools, including Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Why
Analysis, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Demonstrated strong
analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills. Highly motivated to develop in-depth
technical expertise in assigned technologies and processes, with a proactive
approach toward identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement
initiatives. Strong passion for quality excellence, customer
satisfaction, and delivering high-quality results. Proficient in Microsoft Office
applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management
capabilities. Comfortable collaborating and interacting
with employees, customers, and business partners across all organizational
levels and functions. Confident in presenting technical findings,
project updates, and improvement initiatives to management and cross-functional
teams in both Kulim and European organizations. Demonstrates a high level of ownership,
