Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Firmware Development: Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining C-based embedded firmware, implementing real-time control logic and system configurations * Peripheral Integration: Interface with hardware peripherals, including ADCs, DACs, and communication modules, ensuring robust integration of I2C and PMBus protocols * Hardware Validation: Support firmware debug and validation with mixed-signal hardware in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers * Code Quality & Standards: Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, hardware, and software engineers * Technical Documentation: Create and maintain firmware documentation and user guides Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field * Technical skills: Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems, with a solid understanding of Microcontroller (MCU) architecture and low-level concepts * Tools and methodologies: Familiarity with version control tools such as Git * Soft skills: Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn * Interests: High interest in mixed-signal systems and power electronics * Languages: Good written and verbal communication skills in English It would be a plus: * Hardware & Debugging Tools: Basic lab experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG or similar low-level debugging interfaces * Firmware & Architecture: Knowledge of bare-metal or RTOS-based firmware development, with exposure to DC/DC power conversion and mixed-signal concepts * Software & Workflow Tools: Scripting experience in Python for automation/testing, alongside familiarity with project management tools like Jira * Communication Protocols: Familiarity with serial communication protocols (e.g., I2C, UART) * Machine Learning Profiles: An educational background or education in ML is a plus Contact: Ana Pacheco #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
