Labrynth | Remote (Travel Required) | Reports to CEO

Labrynth is a Global Regulatory Infrastructure Platform that builds compliance engines for complex, multi-agency regulatory environments. Our platform has been deployed across government, construction, supply chain, disability and care, and payroll assurance.

Regulation is the single largest bottleneck to global growth and opportunity. Labrynth was built to fix this.

On track to 5x ARR this year. Well funded. Operating across six geographies. Defining the category.

About the Role

~1 min read

We are looking for a senior marketing leader who has built a category in regulated markets and understands that the best marketing engines are built, not bought.

You will own the Labrynth narrative, drive demand into our pipeline, build a product marketing engine across our active verticals and develop the marketing function from the ground up. This is a hands-on role: you will personally execute across content, demand generation, product marketing, and earned media in the early months while directly managing and developing one junior marketer.

This is an executive role with a seat at the leadership table. You will report directly to the CEO and partner daily with the Head of Sales, Head of Product, and Head of Engineering. You will be measured on pipeline contribution, brand equity, not on activity metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Own pipeline generation as the marketing function’s primary accountability, measured on sourced and influenced revenue

  • Build repeatable demand programs across outbound, content, paid experiments, events, webinars, and ABM into priority accounts

  • Drive product marketing across active verticals: messaging hierarchy, sales enablement collateral, competitive intelligence, and pricing communication

  • Own the Labrynth narrative and category positioning across our active verticals: advanced-nuclear licensing, labor compliance, municipal permitting, and regulatory benchmarking

  • Expand the Red Tape Index into a repeatable engine for earned media, inbound demand, and investor narrative, including the U.S. index and Red Tape Index Australia

  • Run a content engine that compounds week over week through founder-led bylines, technical content, customer case studies, and original research

  • Own the website, brand standards, design systems, voice, and visual identity

  • Lead earned media and analyst relations directly with your own reporter and analyst relationships

  • Build the growth narrative including market sizing, competitive landscape, and traction storytelling in partnership with the CEO

  • Directly manage and develop one junior marketer while setting the foundation for a scalable function

A builder with 5+ years building B2B marketing functions in regulated industries, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role at a seed or Series A startup.

  • Built a marketing function from scratch or near-scratch and can show what you produced

  • Direct experience marketing into regulated buyers across energy, nuclear, infrastructure, construction tech, govtech, permitting, compliance, or financial services

  • Player-coach DNA. You have personally written the bylines, built the campaigns, briefed the reporters, and shipped the launches. You manage by doing

  • Strong product marketing instincts. You can take a complex technical product and translate it into clear, differentiated positioning across multiple buyer segments

  • Demand generation track record with specific pipeline numbers you have sourced or influenced

  • Comfortable generating earned media outcomes directly with your own reporter and analyst relationships in at least one of our priority spaces (govtech, regtech, energy, infrastructure, AI, compliance)

  • Exceptional writer. You think on the page. Your one-pagers, narratives, and emails are clear, direct, and outcome-first

  • Comfort in a fast-moving, founder-led environment. You hold strong points of view, push back constructively, and ship under uncertainty

  • Advanced experience using Claude, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and modern marketing operations tools

  • A clear category narrative used consistently across sales, fundraising, and customer-facing surfaces

  • Consistent pipeline contribution from marketing-led efforts, measurable in HubSpot

  • A functioning content engine producing weekly output, not sporadic activity

  • At least one high-quality tier-one or equivalent earned media placement tied to a company milestone

  • Marketing function operating as the primary engine for narrative, demand generation, and investor support

Responsibilities

  • Ground-floor position at the company building the regulatory intelligence layer for the world’s most complex industries

  • Compensation designed for senior operators with meaningful equity at a stage where it compounds

  • Quarterly team offsites

  • High trust, low ego, high velocity. The kind of environment where the people around you make you better, not slower

  • Location: Remote (Travel Required)

  • Compensation: Competitive Base + Performance Bonus + Equity

Character. Competence. Commitment. In that order. Every person we bring on must be net additive to the entire team. We take this seriously.

If this is the kind of opportunity you have been waiting for, we would like to hear from you.
