INflow is seeking a Jr. Network Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will contribute to the DoW warfighter mission through your passion for technology. This network includes Cisco, Aruba, Brocade, Juniper, Riverbed and McAfee network devices to include Routers, Switches, Access Points, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and WAN Accelerators.

  • Provide network technical advice and assistance during the planning phase of a deployment or exercise and coordinate swift solutions to networking problems during the execution phase.
  • Provide direct computer and network support to include router, firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD) and Exchange, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units.
  • Assist in the development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units.
  • Identify required Hardware (HW) and Software (SW)
  • Coordinate the transportation of all HW and SW required to support contingency operations and obtain all import permits.
  • Experience providing deployed support.
  • Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot:
  • Routers
  • Switches
  • Firewalls
  • IDS/IPS platforms
  • DNS services
  • Active Directory environments
  • Microsoft Exchange services
  • VPN solutions
  • Network monitoring tools
  • Perform network performance analysis and proactive monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot Layer 1–Layer 7 network issues.
  • Support secure communications and mission-critical systems.
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and an Operating System (OS)/Application Certification (i.e. Microsoft/Cisco). Microsoft or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
