QA Automation Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong background in web automation and modern testing frameworks to join our Nearshore Quality Engineering (QE) team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java or JavaScript-based automation frameworks, Cucumber, and API testing, along with a strong understanding of Agile practices. . Responsibilites Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. Implement and execute automated test cases using Selenium and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or TestNG. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, QA) within Agile methodologies. Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing layers. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Contribute to test reporting and metrics using tools like Allure Reporting. Support API testing and validation efforts where required Prepare test documentation, reports, and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Collaborate closely with development and product teams within an Agile environment. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and testing-related ceremonies Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of Software testing experience within Software Development project team with Test Case Development and execution skills 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation Strong Experience in languages like Java, Javascript, Python Strong Experience of test automation with Selenium / Web driver IO / Cypress / Playwright Experience working on API testing using Postman or Rest Assured. Hands on with automation frameworks like Cucumber /Behaviour Driven Development/TDD/TestNG Working knowledge with test and defect management tools along with execution on CI/CD pipeline. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams Good experience with different types of Testing ( Manual, Front end, Web testing, UI, Regression, Functional, UAT) Having exposure to Github and Allure Reporting is a great asset Good Communications Skills and attention to detail Benefits What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
