The SSP Project Manager plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the Shop and Space Planning team (Shop Design, VM and Construction teams). In this role, you will have a keen understanding of the bigger picture, ensuring that all projects align with the organization's overarching goals and objectives. You will be solutions-oriented, continuously seeking creative opportunities to overcome challenges. In addition, you will possess a strong understanding of the financial processes involved in front-end planning, allowing you to effectively navigate these aspects and enhance project execution. You know how to be curious about opportunities and how to be real with feedback and support.
As the SSP Project Manager, you embody the qualities of a detective. You may not know every answer, but take the initiative to actively seek them out. As a solution-focused individual, you will help inspire and galvanize the team. In addition to supporting the team to achieve the timely delivery of projects, you will be the gatekeeper of quality, by facilitating value-driven meetings, to ensure the team is proud of the projects we deliver. Your understanding of the business-critical functions and priorities within the Shop & Space Planning team will be crucial within this role.

Reporting to the Shop and Space Planning Managers, the SSP Project Manager undertakes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In collaboration with the SSP Project Manager team, Oversee and project manage SSP team (Design, VM and Construction) workflow and resources for all projects from start to finish ensuring effective deadlines and capacity management for seamless collaboration.
- Successfully maintain the workflow process tools for the SSP team, enhancing structure, planning and transparency for all projects. Including the training of all tools for SSP team members
- Implement Sprint and squad team projects for SSP ensuring both the effectiveness of this and the founding principles.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate workflows, handle specific requests, and prioritize multiple SSP tasks.
- Creation & management of spreadsheets, project costing templates, folders and team documents in collaboration with the Global SSP PM team
- Document projects, maintain a collaborative calendar, and promptly resolve any issues.
- Along with the leadership team prioritize relationship strengthening with Retail and key departments for improved working practices.
- Proactively participate and collaborate in strategy planning meetings with the leadership team to ensure successful planning, resourcing and execution of projects.
- Undertake regular check-ins with team members as it pertains to workload and capacity, projects are allocated effectively and deadlines are being maintained.
- Partner with SSP leaders to identify development and growth opportunities and find solutions while implementing strategy direction.
- Continuously assess and improve SSP team processes and tools, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Complete SSP team Admin as needed
- Shared management and leading of various team meetings.
You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ of experience in Planning / Operations and Project Management, preferably in a retail industry, an equivalent combination of both relevant education and experience
- Proven understanding of project management principles
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead project teams
- Strong business and finance acumen with a talent for analyzing situations and making informed decisions and recommendations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally on occasion
- Proven wizard skills in spreadsheets, formulas and costing templates.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Design, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Experience using design programs such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, or BlueBeam
- Experience in retail or similar related industries is considered an asset

Requirements
~2 min read- USA: $85,000 - $90,000 USD Annually
- Canada: $90,000-$95,000 CAD Annually

This salary range is based on an assessment of the local market and may vary depending on the successful candidate's location. This range is based on base salary and does not include additional bonus program and total rewards eligibility.
