We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting for aglobal software company. This role is hands‑on in Workday Adaptive Planning and partners closely with regional finance teams to drive annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with regional finance teams. Assist with consolidation of budget and forecasts.
- Create, maintain, and enhance financial models to support expense planning, headcount forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Evaluate business scenarios and quantify financial impacts to support decision making.
- Evaluate forecasted assumptions and update them as needed.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and ad hoc requests, including variance and trend analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) with clear commentary.
- Monitor financial performance and operational efficiency against budget and forecast, investigating and providing insights into discrepancies, opportunities, and underlying drivers.
- Maintain and update Workday Adaptive Planning models, assumptions, and calculations used in budgeting and forecasting.
- Support data loads, reconciliations, and validation between Adaptive Planning and Workday Financials.
- Assist in improving planning workflows, system structure, and reporting efficiency within Adaptive.
- Support Finance teams during planning cycles and help maintain planning documentation.
Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, or a combination of FP&A, corporate finance, and financial analysis
- Hands on experience with planning tools, Workday Adaptive Planning preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial tools such as Power BI, Visual Lease and Alteryx.
- Understanding of subscription-based revenue models and SaaS financial concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends.
- Effective communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly.

InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
