Description
As a Luggage/Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting guests as the first point of contact and providing superior guest service by parking and retrieving vehicles.
Requirements

- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.
- Transport luggage to and from guest rooms efficiently and safely.
- Tag, store, and retrieve luggage in the luggage room as needed.
- Provide directions, hotel information, and respond to guest inquiries.
- Coordinate with front desk and bell staff to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell desk and storage areas.
- Handle guest requests such as arranging transportation or delivering packages.
- Report any lost or damaged luggage to the appropriate department.
- Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and be 21 years of age
- Park and retrieve vehicles while providing great customer service
- Open and close car doors while assisting with luggage or other belongings
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return
- Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions
- Knowledge of local roads and routes to area attractions and points of interest
- Having a proper, valid Driver's License and a clean driving record Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services is a bonus.
