This is a high-visibility marketing leadership opportunity supporting the launch and growth of an innovative oncology therapy.
You will lead the development of a comprehensive, patient-centered marketing strategy spanning patients, caregivers, advanced practice providers, and nursing stakeholders.
The role combines strategic brand thinking, promotional development, omnichannel engagement, and close collaboration across commercial functions.
You will help bring the patient and caregiver perspective into brand strategy, commercial priorities, and promotional decision-making.
Working with internal teams and external creative and media partners, you will translate strategy into impactful campaigns and compliant promotional materials.
The position requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex projects within a rapidly evolving biotechnology environment.
It is well suited to an experienced oncology marketer who is energized by product launches, cross-functional collaboration, and building new capabilities.

  • Lead the development of the patient marketing strategy for REVTORPYK, aligning patient, caregiver, APP, and nursing needs with overarching brand and commercial objectives.
  • Develop the patient promotional platform, including strategic messaging, creative campaigns, and promotional tactics.
  • Partner with promotional leadership to develop an APP and nursing educational platform and integrated omnichannel approach.
  • Collaborate with the Multi-channel Marketing Lead to develop and execute a comprehensive patient omnichannel strategy.
  • Lead internal prioritization and review of patient materials, projects, and resources through the Promotional Review Committee process.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations, Sales, Medical, Market Access, and other stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze relevant metrics and insights, and optimize promotional activities accordingly.
  • Manage relationships with creative and media agencies supporting assigned tactics, ensuring effective coordination and responsible budget management.
  • Oversee projects to ensure deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
  • Partner with patient advocacy teams to support compliant advocacy-related and patient-facing initiatives.
  • Ensure patient marketing activities and materials meet applicable pharmaceutical promotional, regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
  • Represent the patient and caregiver perspective in brand strategy and commercial planning.
  • Build trusted relationships within the oncology community and contribute to broader commercial initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of commercial experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • 5+ years of oncology marketing experience, including direct-to-patient marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated product launch experience in a promotional marketing role.
  • At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably within oncology.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, including working across internal teams and managing external agencies.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations governing pharmaceutical promotion and applicable compliance standards, including Promotional Review Committee processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities, explore innovative approaches, and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making, planning, and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in breast cancer marketing is preferred.
  • Cross-functional experience in areas such as market analytics, sales, sales management, or key customer marketing is a plus.
