As a Lead LiveOps & Monetization Designer, you will take hands-on ownership of the game’s monetization strategy and LiveOps execution.
You will design, configure, launch, and optimize offers, promotions, events, pricing, and targeted campaigns across frequent release cycles.
Your work will directly influence revenue, player engagement, conversion, retention, and long-term player value.
You will analyze player behavior, progression, purchasing patterns, and economy performance to identify new monetization opportunities.
Working closely with Product, Design, Analytics, QA, Development, and Art teams, you will turn concepts into reliable in-game experiences.
You will also lead the LiveOps team, establish priorities, improve workflows, and support consistent execution across initiatives.
This is a global, collaborative opportunity for an experienced gaming professional who combines strong commercial instincts with data-driven game design.
- Own and continuously improve the game’s LiveOps and in-app purchase monetization strategy.
- Design and optimize offers, bundles, promotions, pricing, events, and targeted monetization campaigns.
- Analyze player behavior, game economy, progression, purchase patterns, and lifecycle data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators including revenue, ARPDAU, ARPPU, conversion, payer rate, purchase frequency, retention, and offer performance.
- Build and maintain the LiveOps and monetization calendar across frequent release cycles.
- Develop new LiveOps events and monetization concepts using existing game systems, assets, and configuration capabilities.
- Work directly with configuration sheets, spreadsheets, and similar tools to manage events, rewards, offers, pricing, and other LiveOps parameters.
- Develop player segmentation, targeted offers, and lifecycle-based monetization strategies.
- Define, launch, and evaluate A/B tests and other monetization experiments.
- Coordinate execution across Product, Game Design, Analytics, QA, Development, Art, and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead the LiveOps team, establish priorities, improve processes, and ensure reliable and timely execution.
- Use performance data and experimentation results to continuously refine monetization and LiveOps initiatives.
Requirements

- Strong knowledge of in-app purchase offers, bundles, pricing, promotions, virtual economies, payer conversion, and lifecycle monetization.
- Strong understanding of monetization KPIs and the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
- Hands-on experience working with configuration sheets, spreadsheets, CMS platforms, or similar systems for managing live game content.
- Experience with player segmentation, targeted offers, A/B testing, and monetization experimentation.
- Strong LiveOps ideation and systems-design capabilities.
- Experience managing frequent release cycles and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives and drive execution.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within an international team.
- Experience with 4X strategy, RPG, MMO, or other systems-heavy games is a plus.
- Experience with economy design, gacha, subscriptions, battle passes, shops, or progression monetization is advantageous.
- Familiarity with personalized offers, automation, experimentation tools, dashboards, or LiveOps CMS platforms is a plus.
