Own and continuously enhance governance processes, structures, and meeting forums designed to improve quality and Stars performance.

Design and maintain effective governance mechanisms that align programs with organizational objectives, regulatory expectations, and strategic priorities.

Coordinate with finance partners to organize and support Stars operating expense and administrative budgets.

Lead governance meetings, facilitate productive decision-making, and ensure outcomes, decisions, and action items are clearly documented and communicated.

Analyze program and governance results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.

Advise executives and senior leaders on governance matters and contribute to functional and segment-level strategy development.

Implement governance improvements, monitor their effectiveness, and adapt processes as organizational priorities evolve.

Exercise independent judgment when addressing complex issues, identifying key decision points and escalating matters to the appropriate leadership level.

Collaborate across business units to promote alignment, establish accountability, and share effective governance practices.

Monitor relevant industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to healthcare quality, governance, and Stars program management.

Proactively manage changing priorities, meeting agendas, and stakeholder participation to ensure the right decision-makers are engaged at the right time.

Maintain strong organization across multiple initiatives while holding directly responsible individuals accountable for completing senior leadership action items and commitments.

Build effective relationships with executives, leaders, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

At least 7 years of experience in program delivery, governance, project management, audit, healthcare quality, Stars, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience working with budgets, financial resources, or operating expenses.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex initiatives, and support organizational change.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex information and determine appropriate courses of action.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate recommendations to diverse audiences.

Experience presenting to large groups and engaging effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively communicate risks, changes, and escalation needs.

Preferred: Knowledge or experience in Medicare Stars, risk adjustment, provider operations, or healthcare quality.

Preferred: PMP or CAPM certification.

Preferred: Lean or Six Sigma certification.

Ability to work remotely from a dedicated, interruption-free workspace that supports the protection of confidential health information.

Reliable internet connectivity suitable for remote work, with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds recommended.

Availability to work a standard 40-hour workweek and occasional travel for meetings or training.
