This is a high-ownership marketing leadership role focused on shaping consumer growth across the Canadian market.
You’ll develop the country-level marketing strategy and translate business objectives into integrated campaigns and compelling brand experiences.

You’ll serve as the primary driver for execution, coordinating multiple teams and programs while maintaining a strong focus on measurable outcomes.
A deep understanding of Canadian consumers, regional nuances, and the Quebec market will be essential to building locally relevant work.
You’ll operate in a lean, fast-moving environment where strategic judgment and hands-on execution are equally important.
This role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence both brand development and business growth across a major market.

  • Develop the Canadian consumer marketing strategy and secure alignment with senior and executive stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary owner for executing the marketing strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver integrated programs.

  • Develop and manage brand partnerships across Canada, supporting existing relationships while identifying and evaluating new opportunities.

  • Use consumer, category, market, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategy and contribute to broader business growth.

  • Own the Canadian influencer program, developing locally relevant content in close partnership with media teams and agency partners.

  • Lead integrated campaigns and content initiatives across paid and owned channels, ensuring work is accurate, culturally relevant, and consistent with brand standards.

  • Apply deep localization expertise to marketing initiatives, including campaigns targeting consumers across different Canadian regions and Quebec.

  • Build strategic and creative briefs, collaborate with channel leads, and oversee campaign execution and measurement.

  • Manage relationships with agencies and internal partners across brand, media, creative, CRM, and other marketing functions.

  • Track and manage the Canadian monthly marketing budget with accuracy and discipline.

  • Balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution across multiple concurrent programs.

  • Present recommendations, progress, and strategic decisions to senior leadership and build cross-functional consensus around priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing and integrated campaign marketing, with a strong balance of strategy and execution.

  • Experience preferably gained within a consumer technology company operating across the U.S. and Canada or within a similarly complex multi-market environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies that translate business objectives into compelling brand narratives and impactful campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of integrated brand and campaign marketing, including strategic and creative briefing, channel planning, agency collaboration, execution, and performance measurement.

  • Ability to move comfortably between executive-level strategic thinking and hands-on marketing execution.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting and defending marketing strategies to senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of Canadian culture and consumer behavior, including regional differences and experience developing marketing programs for audiences in Quebec.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus and align diverse teams around shared objectives.

  • Strong judgment, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Familiarity with Québécois culture and bilingual English/French capabilities are preferred.
