In this remote role, you will lead data analysis and reporting for Individual Medicare Advantage Supplemental Benefits, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical financial and actuarial information. You will manage complex data flows across multiple vendors and systems, supporting regulatory reporting, pricing decisions, and financial forecasting. By monitoring emerging trends and analyzing actual-versus-expected performance, you will help business partners identify opportunities and make informed decisions. You will also drive automation and process improvement initiatives to strengthen data quality, streamline reporting, and reduce operational risk. This position offers significant autonomy, technical ownership, and the opportunity to influence analytical strategy across a complex healthcare organization.

  • Lead data analysis, validation, and regulatory reporting activities for Individual Medicare Advantage Supplemental Benefits, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

  • Own supplemental benefit data logic and coordinate the integration of information across multiple vendors, databases, and systems.

  • Manage end-to-end data processes supporting regulatory reporting, actuarial pricing, financial forecasting, and performance management.

  • Monitor emerging experience and produce monthly Actual-to-Expected (A2E) reports to identify variances, evaluate trends, and support financial decision-making.

  • Analyze complex datasets to explain performance fluctuations, improve forecasting accuracy, and provide actionable insights to business partners.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions, reporting tools, and summary dashboards to support scalable analytics and reliable decision-making.

  • Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, improve data quality, and minimize operational risks.

  • Exercise independent judgment when determining technical approaches, setting project objectives, and resolving complex analytical challenges.

  • Collaborate with finance, actuarial, and other business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into practical recommendations and strategic improvements.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. A master's degree is preferred.

  • Technical experience: At least five years of experience working with database programs, reporting tools, dashboards, or comparable analytical technologies.

  • Data analytics: Demonstrated experience compiling, modeling, interpreting, validating, and analyzing data to identify and explain variances and trends.

  • Analytical problem-solving: Ability to evaluate moderately complex to highly complex business situations, assess multiple variables, and develop appropriate analytical approaches.

  • Reporting and modeling: Experience improving modeling techniques and translating analytical results into clear, actionable insights.

  • Financial or actuarial knowledge: A background in finance or actuarial science is preferred, particularly for candidates familiar with pricing, forecasting, or healthcare financial analytics.

  • Project management: A project management certification is an advantage.

  • Technical capabilities: Ability to develop and maintain reporting solutions, improve data processes, and support automation initiatives.

  • Communication and collaboration: Strong judgment and the ability to communicate findings effectively, work across business functions, and operate independently with minimal supervision.

  • Remote work readiness: Ability to maintain a dedicated, interruption-free workspace and a reliable internet connection that meets the minimum requirements of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

  • Additional eligibility: This is a remote position, but occasional travel to office locations for meetings or training may be required. The role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
