This role focuses on strengthening software engineering delivery through effective processes, agile practices, and data-driven management. You will work closely with development teams and leadership to improve delivery predictability, operational efficiency, and flow. The position combines team enablement with analytical expertise, using delivery metrics to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement. You will help teams adopt sustainable ways of working while building capacity plans and evidence-based delivery forecasts. The role also involves creating dashboards and management reports that turn engineering data into actionable insights. You will collaborate across technical and business areas in distributed work environments. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous delivery and governance practices, including in environments with regulatory and data protection requirements.
The role is responsible for enabling high-performing engineering delivery through agile practices, flow management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
- Build and continuously evolve continuous delivery processes that improve predictability, operational efficiency, and execution quality across engineering teams.
- Implement and strengthen agile practices, ensuring effective adoption by development teams and partner areas.
- Define, monitor, and analyze flow and delivery metrics, including lead time, cycle time, throughput, WIP, capacity, predictability, rework, and DORA metrics.
- Lead capacity planning activities and support delivery forecasting using historical data and appropriate forecasting models.
- Build dashboards and management reports that provide visibility into team performance and delivery flow.
- Partner with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Promote effective practices for flow management, collaboration, and governance across software engineering environments.
- Support the development of processes that meet regulatory requirements, including traceability, auditability, and segregation of duties when working with sensitive data.
- Encourage performance measurement at team and delivery-system level rather than focusing on individual productivity metrics.

~2 min readThe ideal candidate combines strong experience in agile and engineering delivery management with advanced knowledge of flow metrics, forecasting, capacity planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Solid experience implementing and evolving agile practices within software engineering teams, going beyond facilitating ceremonies.
- Proven experience creating, analyzing, and managing flow and delivery metrics such as lead time, cycle time, throughput, WIP, capacity, predictability, and rework.
- Practical knowledge of DORA metrics and their use in improving organizational performance.
- Experience with capacity planning and delivery forecasting based on historical data.
- Knowledge of probabilistic forecasting techniques and metrics-driven management.
- Experience defining and monitoring performance indicators focused on teams and delivery systems rather than individual productivity.
- Experience managing and facilitating distributed teams across remote, hybrid, or in-person environments.
- Familiarity with work management and flow-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure Boards.
- Ability to build dashboards and transform data into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage leadership, business teams, and technical professionals through different communication channels.
- Advanced knowledge or certification in Kanban, such as KMP or equivalent, is desirable.
- Experience working in regulated environments, particularly healthcare, insurance, financial services, or similar sectors, is a plus.
- Familiarity with traceability, audit requirements, segregation of duties, LGPD, sensitive-data protection, and process governance is desirable.
- Experience structuring continuous delivery models and agile transformation initiatives within medium or large organizations is an advantage.
