Fulfill assigned contractual responsibilities within the qualified technical skill set, with a focus on steam turbine mechanical and generator systems.

Provide on-site technical direction and oversee maintenance, repair, inspection, and outage activities in accordance with contractual requirements and established procedures.

Review and interpret engineering documentation, including manufacturing drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and other technical prints.

Plan, organize, integrate, and direct required resources, including personnel, tools, materials, and technical support.

Lead and oversee outage tasks, project scopes, and small field teams within the assigned area of expertise.

Identify, anticipate, and document potential equipment failures and develop recommendations for future outages and maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot plant systems and equipment, working with engineering teams to investigate issues and develop effective customer solutions.

Support pre-outage planning, including recommendations and implementation of relevant policies, procedures, and work practices.

Execute project management and technical leadership responsibilities throughout assigned field projects.

Support warranty administration and ensure technical and contractual commitments are properly addressed.

Promote and maintain strong safety performance as an active member of the service team.

Ensure quality requirements are followed in accordance with applicable quality procedures and standards.

Communicate project progress, technical findings, and field information effectively with headquarters using company systems and digital tools.

Support broader business needs when not assigned to field projects.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED combined with at least 3 years of hands-on steam turbine experience.

Demonstrated experience supporting successful steam turbine installations, maintenance activities, and power-plant outages.

Strong technical knowledge of turbine and generator systems, with the ability to actively support outage execution and identify when additional technical expertise is required.

Experience with equipment from major OEMs such as GE, Alstom, Siemens, or comparable manufacturers is preferred.

Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and other technical documentation.

Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with sound judgment and the ability to work independently in complex field environments.

Experience overseeing outage scopes, tasks, and small teams is highly desirable.

Strong understanding and application of environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Strong organizational, project management, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Professional and customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage technical and contractual discussions effectively.

Strong computer skills and the ability to use digital tools for communication, reporting, and project execution.

Business acumen and the ability to identify and communicate opportunities involving relevant products and services.

Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability and willingness to travel extensively, with approximately 80% travel to project and field locations.

Ability to obtain unescorted security clearance for work at nuclear power facilities.

Valid driver’s license and passport.

Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime when required by field assignments.

Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding, work in hot environments, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to successfully complete required training programs and meet Level II core competency requirements.
