This role combines functional expertise, client advisory, hands-on configuration, and project delivery.
You’ll lead requirements and design discussions, translate business needs into effective Workday solutions, and help clients navigate complex financial challenges.
The position also provides opportunities to mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of the broader Financials practice.
You’ll work in a collaborative, flexible professional services environment that values initiative, continuous improvement, and strong client relationships.
The role is well suited to an experienced Workday professional who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership of client engagements.
This is a fully remote, U.S.-based, full-time W2 opportunity.

Lead client requirements-gathering and solution-design sessions independently, helping stakeholders translate business needs into practical Workday Financial solutions.

Configure and deliver Workday Financial solutions in support of client implementations and project objectives.

Manage client-facing discussions and provide functional guidance throughout project delivery.

Partner with project architects and other consultants to ensure solutions are aligned with requirements, implementation standards, and overall project design.

Support and guide consultants working on project deliverables while contributing hands-on expertise when needed.

Mentor junior members of the Financials practice, sharing knowledge and helping strengthen consulting capabilities.

Identify and solve complex business and system challenges while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and project outcomes.

Manage multiple priorities and deliverables effectively within a fast-paced professional services environment.

Proactively support practice leadership and contribute to internal initiatives, process improvements, and organizational growth.
Requirements

3+ years of hands-on Workday Financial Grants configuration experience.

Demonstrated experience supporting Workday implementations or related project delivery.

Strong understanding of Workday Financial functionality and the ability to translate client requirements into effective configurations.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with financial data and business requirements.

Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.

Ability to lead client conversations independently and establish productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Collaborative, proactive approach with a willingness to support colleagues, mentor junior consultants, and contribute beyond individual project responsibilities.

Ability to work effectively in an environment that values flexibility, innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.

Current residence and ability to work within the United States.
