Distribution Planner II

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Planner II to join our Electric Distribution Team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to develop and optimize distribution designs, collaborate within client GIS environments, and deliver high-quality planning solutions that align with construction standards and client expectations.

• →Demonstrate working knowledge of overhead and underground electric distribution systems, as well as gas distribution systems and client GIS design systems
• →Use data collected by Utility Specialists to develop designs according to client standards
• →Collect data and assist in submitting permit applications for assigned projects
• →Travel locally and occasionally out-of-area to review project progress and perform field duties

• Associate’s degree or combination of High School Diploma and relevant work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel, GIS, and Work Management Systems
• Willingness to learn client systems and applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
