## Your Responsibilities
As a Paint Manufacturing Engineer at John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, Iowa, you will:
* Provide support and troubleshooting for current production throughout the paint process including E-coat, liquid paint, and powder paint applications.
* Support/Lead projects to drive improvement in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency.
* Establish and document production routings, hang methods, tooling strategies, layouts, and work instructions.
* Work with internal and external suppliers and customers to meet factory goals.

## What Skills You Need
* 1 year or less of experience in manufacturing and/or paint processes.
* 1 year or less of experience with problem solving and working in a team environment.
* 1 year or less of experience with computer aided design, engineering tools, or databases.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
## What Makes You Stand Out
* Experience with industrial paint systems.
* Experience with paint robotics
* Experience with SAP, PhizX, JDAAT, CI 200, CREO
* Paint/Materials engineering experience.
## Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Chemical)
