Pastry Cook

Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our culinary team within our Food & Beverage department. This is a role for someone with a passion for baking and dessert craft, an eye for detail, and a love for creating beautiful, delicious finishes to every meal.

Our ideal candidate is creative, precise, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality pastries and desserts for our members and guests.

As a Pastry Cook, you'll support our culinary team by preparing a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastry items for daily service, banquets, and special events.

Key responsibilities include:

• →Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and Club standards
• →Plate and present desserts with consistency and attention to detail
• →Measure and mix ingredients accurately for baking and pastry production
• →Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of pastry ingredients and finished products
• →Set up, maintain, and break down your station before and after each shift
• →Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• →Assist with seasonal menu items, special event desserts, and banquet production as needed

• Strong baking fundamentals and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple items and timelines during production

• Prior pastry or baking experience in a professional kitchen preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a hot, high-volume kitchen
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
