Design Intern

This is a Design intern opportunity with Journey, with the ICRAVE team at our broadway studio. We're the team behind the award-winning JPMorgan Chase airport lounges, we've reimagined cancer care at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and created the world’s most immersive entertainment venue for the interior experience of the Sphere in Las Vegas.  

ICRAVE is a founding studio of Journey, the global design and innovation agency shaping the future through multidimensional experiences (MDX) that connect people, brands, and culture. Journey’s layered MDX approach crafts story-driven, sensory-rich engagement across physical, immersive, digital, and virtual spaces—fueled by creative and technological innovation.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• →Collaborate with senior designers to develop innovative and highly detailed interior design spaces 
• →Assist in the preparation of design presentations
• →Conduct research on industry trends, materials, and finishes 
• →Participate in client meetings and assist in preparing presentation materials
• →Create detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit 
• →Support the procurement process by sourcing and selecting materials and furnishings
• →Assist in the coordination of project installations and site visits

• Currently pursuing or finishing pursuing a degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• A creative, motivated, fearless and curious design approach
• A passion for architecture, interior design and the built environment
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite 
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and take direction from senior designers 
• Strong organizational and time management skills 

Location: This opportunity is an in-person internship program within our Broadway Studio in New York. On this occasion we can only consider applications from those fully authorized to work in the U.S.

Contract: Internship

Salary: $25 USD/hour
