Responsibilities

  • Drive the advancement, oversight, and strategic planning of both existing and emerging missile defense systems.
  • Offer expert guidance in defining, managing, and executing requirements traceability with precision.
  • Lead the establishment and operation of the MDA Program Office, ensuring its success and growth.
  • Cultivate collaborative technical exchanges within the MDA engineering community to enhance innovation and synergy.

🧠What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in a STEM field
  • 20+ years of relevant professional experience
  • An Active DoD securuity clearance at the Secret level (or above)
  • Technical expertise supporting government and contracting staff in systems and digital engineering
  • Experience in the development, management, and planning for current and future capabilities as they relates to missile defense, specifically related to the functional portion of the system
  • Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and providing recommendations on the development, addition, variances, and changes to functional requirements as well as providing quality checks on technical documentation and products
  • Senior-level experience in document development, presentations, change requests, and other engineering products
  • Experience with interacting and supporting high level government customers (Senior NH-4 director-level and above)
  • Understanding of Industry/DoD engineering best practices, complemented with mature communication skills
