Accounts Receivable

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage and execute all activities related to the full Accounts Receivable cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of the full accounting cycle, as the position offers growth potential into broader accounting responsibilities within the Finance department. The ideal candidate has solid AR experience, thrives in structured environments, and brings the analytical and technical foundation to support accounting functions beyond AR. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment application, reconciliations, and customer follow-up. Review and analyze aging reports, identify discrepancies, and implement effective collection strategies. Prepare AR-related financial reports for internal and external audits. Support month-end close activities, including: Journal entry preparation Bank reconciliations Account analysis Documentation for audits and closing cycles Maintain communication with internal teams and external customers to resolve billing or payment issues. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and industry regulations (Pharma/GxP when applicable). Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable; experience in regulated industries (Pharma, Manufacturing, Medical Devices) preferred. Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional communication skills and customer service orientation.
