Finance Treasury Accountant - Jumia (Full-Time)

• →Record and maintain all treasury-related accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• →Conduct regular bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• →Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all treasury accounting records and transactions.
• →Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports related to treasury activities.
• →Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of treasury transactions.
• →Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment and consistency in financial reporting.
• →Monitor and maintain internal controls related to treasury accounting processes.
• →Assist in developing and improving treasury accounting policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within treasury or financial services.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
