This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Tribe Test Engineer. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic client projects, bringing your expertise to diverse environments and contributing to the success of our clients while embodying the values of a true K-Stone.
As a Tribe Test Engineer within the CCE - Individuals domain, you will drive the delivery of digital channels for employees and individual customers, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and engaging digital experiences. The mission is to make banking easy, efficient, and customer-centric while continuously improving the digital ecosystem. You will operate in a fully Agile environment, coordinating end-to-end quality assurance across approximately 30 squads. You will refine and improve the Tribe Test Strategy, balancing risk management, test coverage, and stakeholder collaboration. All responsibilities are carried out under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model.
- Define and evolve the test automation strategy for the tribe, ensuring alignment with quality standards, DevOps practices, and business goals.
- Review and challenge squad-level API and UI test automation (e.g., Playwright, Java RestAssured, Cucumber, etc.) to improve efficiency, reliability, and coverage.
- Assess automation frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and performance, proposing enhancements where needed.
- Collaborate with Dev/Ops engineers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, etc.) and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Monitor automation metrics (e.g., execution time, flakiness, coverage) and report insights to squads and leadership to drive data-driven decisions.
- Translate technical automation challenges into clear, actionable recommendations for squads, product owners, and tribe leadership.
- Facilitate workshops to upskill teams on best practices (e.g., shift-left testing, service virtualization, BDD).
- Report to management in a clear way about progress and impediments.
- Advocate for automation investments by demonstrating ROI (e.g., defect prevention, faster releases, cost savings).
- Align test automation priorities with business objectives, ensuring automation efforts support release timelines and quality goals.
- Act as the escalation point for automation blockers, working with squads to resolve technical and process-related issues.
Requirements

- English: Mandatory
- Master’s degree (or equivalent by experience) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- ISTQB is a strong asset
- 5+ years in test management/quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation.
- API testing (e.g. Java RestAssured, Karate, etc.) and service virtualization (e.g. WireMock, MockServer, etc.).
- UI automation (e.g. Playwright, Appium, etc.) and cross-browser/device testing.
- Test frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, etc.) and BDD methodologies.
- CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab-CI) for automated test execution.
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
- Proven track record in defining and improving test automation strategies in large-scale Agile organizations.
- Experience with software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with banking/financial services (or highly regulated industries) is a plus.
- Ability to translate business requirements into automated test scenarios and risk-based test plans.
