Senior Accountant

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of senior accountant in our corporate location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!

• →Assist with the coding of accounts payable, as well as the monthly closing of accounts payable.
• →Perform as needed various monthly bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, monitoring amortization of various assets.  
• →Capitalize, reconcile, and keep the fixed assets up to date and accurate.
• →Record various journal entries as needed.
• →Assist as needed with the credit card transition from paper to digital.
• →Assist as needed with the streamlining of various accounting duties.
• →Assist with monthly closing of the general ledger.
• →Assist with gathering, and filing sales tax information, property tax, and corporate filings.
• →Assist with various audits as needed.
• →Formulate schedules and gather information as needed.
• →Use Excel as needed or other reporting tools to analyze, gather, and communicate information.
• →Communicate effectively and timely.
• →Work with, cooperate with, and be a part of a growing company.
