As an Internal Comms & Brand Co-op at Klaviyo, you'll join our Internal Comms team, where the work is video-forward, visually driven, and focused on telling a story well, specifically the story of what it's actually like to work at Klaviyo. We're looking for students who think like creatives and like systems-builders at the same time: people who love making video, motion, and visual work, but who also like figuring out how that work can land with an audience. Our team is also finding new ways to use AI in our creative work, from video and editing to content production. You'll get hands-on exposure to that as part of your day-to-day, not as a side project.
- Help tell the story of Klaviyo's employee experience and culture, both internally and externally on the careers site, LinkedIn, and other social channels
- Support the creation of video and visual content that captures what it's like to work at Klaviyo
- Assist with internal communications rollouts, partnering with our Internal Comms team on writing and content support
- Manage and post content across social media channels, like LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, with an expected graduation date in May 2029, in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, Design, or a related field
- A strong creative storyteller who brings a real point of view to their work, not just someone who executes on a brief
- Passionate about video production, with proficiency in tools like After Effects, Canva, or CapCut
- Solid on design fundamentals: typography, color theory, layout, and composition
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of your creative process to move faster without losing craft
- Working knowledge of Figma, which is Klaviyo's marketing design standard
- Experience managing and posting content on social media channels
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
- Proficient in Google Suite and Slack
- Designed and launched your own content, brand, or platform from the ground up
- Applied Claude Design or Claude Code hands-on to actually ship something
- Navigated internal communications work and understand how it differs from external-facing marketing
- Produced or edited animation and video content, whether through coursework, freelance work, or personal projects
