Reporting to the Go-To-Market Compensation Director, the Sales Compensation Analyst supports the day-to-day administration of incentive compensation programs. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely commission processing, maintaining data integrity, and supporting reporting and analysis. The Analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams to help execute compensation processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support the administration of incentive compensation plans, ensuring accurate and timely commission payouts
- Process monthly and quarterly commissions and assist with accrual calculations
- Validate data inputs (quotas, crediting, bookings) and help identify and resolve discrepancies
- Support Xactly operations, including data uploads, payout validation, and plan and quota distribution
- Assist with system testing (UAT) and validation of compensation plans and system changes
- Build and maintain reports on attainment, payouts, and compensation trends
- Support the creation of dashboards and provide data insights to GTM and Finance teams
- Assist in the administration of SPIFFs and incentive programs
- Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, HR, and Systems teams to ensure accurate data flow and process alignment
- Provide support to sales teams by answering compensation-related questions
- Assist in maintaining documentation (SOPs, plan documents, calculators)
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with data and large datasets
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- Experience with Excel / Google Sheets required
- Experience with Xactly or other ICM systems is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
