Deli Counter Staff

Greet and assist customers in a polite and professional manner

Prepare, slice, and package deli meats, cheeses, and salads according to customer requests

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and display areas

Ensure all food is handled safely and stored according to health and hygiene standards

Replenish stock, check product freshness, and rotate items as needed

Operate slicing machines, scales, and other deli equipment safely

Handle payments accurately and process sales transactions

Follow company procedures and safety guidelines

• Previous experience in a customer service or food handling role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A genuine interest in food and a willingness to learn about our products.
