Senior Azure Platform Engineer (Latam, Remote)

We are looking to expand our amazing roster with a Senior Azure Cloud / Platform Engineer, located in Latin America. This is a short-term, high-impact engagement focused on supporting the infrastructure and platform layer of a modern AI-driven application.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform / Backend Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Apache Airflow (required)
  • PostgreSQL (2–3+ years, including query optimization and performance tuning)
  • Microsoft Azure (required)
  • Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Strong Python skills for data processing and backend logic
• Experience working with production data pipelines and troubleshooting live systems
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality
• Experience integrating with APIs and external data sources
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a small team environment
• Strong communication skills and experience working with distributed teams

• Experience in healthcare data, claims processing, or similar domains
• Background in fintech or data-heavy platforms
• Experience supporting data-driven algorithms or pricing systems
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
• Experience working in fast-paced, production-heavy environments

• Fully remote position (LATAM)
• Full-time, 6–12 month engagement with potential for extension
• Opportunity to work on real-world, high-impact data systems in production
• Collaboration with U.S.-based teams (MST/PT overlap required)
• High level of ownership and autonomy
