LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions. If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application — we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.

As Manager, Venue Planning and Operations within Broadcast Services, you help carry the Olympic and Paralympic Games to the world. In the years leading up to LA28, you plan how competition venues support world-class broadcast, partnering with the Olympic Broadcasting Services production teams and shaping the infrastructure behind every moment audiences see. This is a role of creation rather than maintenance: you establish the plans, standards and working relationships that barely exist yet, translating complex technical requirements into decisions that venue teams can actually deliver.

Responsibilities

· Serve as primary contact for Olympic Broadcasting Services production teams, leading broadcast planning and information exchange.

· Lead World Broadcaster Meetings and briefings, managing deliverable submissions and the flow of technical information.

· Support infrastructure and technical planning for competition venues, translating broadcast requirements into workable venue plans.

· Lead site visits to competition venues, assessing broadcast infrastructure needs and informing planning decisions accordingly.

· Partner across Venue Infrastructure, Technology, Hospitality and Ticketing and Games Operations to streamline approvals and optimizations.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant broadcast industry experience, preferably 7+ years working within broadcast production and live operations.

· Experience working alongside international broadcast organizations that are responsible for delivering global coverage of major sporting events.

· Proven success building excellent working relationships across a diverse and demanding range of internal and external stakeholders.

· Experience working across multiple functional areas to move complex technical venue plans forward toward confident delivery.

· Comfortable securing buy-in from senior external rights holders, including both the International Olympic and International Paralympic Committees.

· Familiarity with temporary or overlay broadcast infrastructure at major multi-venue events.

· Experience delivering broadcast plans across a multi-venue portfolio simultaneously.

· Direct exposure to host broadcaster planning processes and approval cycles.

· Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

What We Offer

~1 min read

· A historic opportunity to shape how the Games reach a truly global audience.

· Rare cross-functional breadth across venues, technology and international broadcast partners.

· Accelerated learning and transferable skills that outlast the Games themselves.

· A collaborative, inclusive team where trust and shared success come first.

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.

Broadcast is how billions of people experience the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The venue plans you shape determine whether each competition can be captured and shared at world-class quality, carrying these Games into homes across the world.
