Our Aerospace Mechanical Technical Support apprenticeship is suited for those who are interested in the theoretical side of engineering - planning, scheduling, design, development & test elements of mechanical engineering. This scheme is predominately an office based role. Mechanical Engineering, in a helicopter context, covers areas such as airframe, propulsion, fuel, hydraulics, flying controls, rotors and transmissions. During the scheme, you will experience a number of placements across the Engineering department, with the ultimate aim of moving you into a final placement area based on business requirements and the skills displayed during the apprenticeship.
