Job Title: Accountant Location: Pakistan Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, support project-based financial planning, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, reporting, and auditing processes, while providing valuable insights to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate project cash flow statements, ensuring proper tracking of inflows and outflows. Conduct project feasibility studies, including financial analysis, cost estimation, and profitability assessments. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Prepare periodic financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Generate detailed financial reports for management review, highlighting trends, variances, and key insights. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Supervise and coordinate internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and timely submission of documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and reference purposes. Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions as required. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience in project-based accounting and feasibility analysis is an advantage. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
