Sr. Specialist, Accounting

At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Senior Specialist, Accounting supports advanced accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, budgeting, tax activities, and internal controls. This role helps ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and government requirements while providing financial insights, process support, and training to accounting team members.

• →Develop, maintain, and support internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
• →Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, annual budgets, and other financial analyses
• →Produce periodic financial reports and ensure reported results comply with GAAP or applicable financial reporting standards
• →Support tax planning throughout the fiscal year and assist with the preparation and filing of annual corporate tax returns
• →Audit accounts and financial records to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• →Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation and information for annual audits
• →Conduct thorough and timely financial audits and report findings to management
• →Present recommendations to management regarding short- and long-term financial objectives, policies, and process improvements
• →Train and support accounting team members on accounting processes, systems, internal controls, and reporting requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or related field preferred. 
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Experience working at a large company preferred
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
• Ability to work flexible hours due to communication with HQ.
