At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Engineer II, IT Planning will play a key role in supporting the planning, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale IT systems across the organization. This role helps improve operational productivity and efficiency by coordinating IT initiatives, supporting system implementation activities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure business and technology needs are effectively aligned.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT investment planning, operational budgeting, and related budget tracking activities.
  • Establish, execute, and monitor progress of IT investment plans.
  • Submit, review, and manage IT investment plan documentation and approvals.
  • Manage IT contracts, agreements, payments, and related administrative processes.
  • Support the stable operation and continuous improvement of servers, software, networks, and databases.
  • Identify system issues, support timely resolution of system failures, and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage IT-related issues and serve as a communication channel with parent headquarters.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to IT issues, achievements, and project progress.
  • Coordinate IT Committee activities, meetings, and follow-up items.
  • Manage hardware and software asset registration, disposal, inventory, and in-use counts.
  • Support purchasing activities for office and factory IT accessories.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience within the manufacturing and/or construction industries.
  • Technical project management experience.
  • Experience with data analysis projects and production system projects preferred.
  • Experience with MES and SAP ERP system setup projects preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production teams, HQ, and global sites.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, support resolution, and implement countermeasures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools for report writing, presentations, and data tracking.
  • Ability to analyze data, track project progress, and prepare clear reports for leadership.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and enterprise system implementation processes.
