Spanish Teacher (Part Time)

• →Teaching three sections of Spanish classes in our high school program. 
• →Providing an orderly teaching environment consistent with the Atlanta Classical’s core virtues.
• →Developing lesson plans and curricula aligned with the language department’s goals. 
• →Creating a Spanish-immersion environment to the extent that it’s appropriate for student ability. 
• →Assesses students regularly with both written and oral exams. 

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field from a fully accredited college is required.
• Valid teaching certification in Georgia is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in classical education is preferred but not required.
• Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Atlanta Classical Academy is an open-enrollment, public charter school open to students who reside within the Atlanta Public Schools district. The school opened in 2014 with grades K – 8, and has added a grade each year as students have advanced. It is now a K – 12 academy. The children of full-time employees have enrollment preference.
