Social Worker - Child Protection

• →Ensure the safety and well-being of children, young people, and their families.
• →Conduct thorough and timely assessments following regulatory guidelines.
• →Collaborate with various agencies, children, and families in the assessment and planning process.
• →Manage complex and diverse caseloads, maintaining high standards of casework.
• →Mentor and support less experienced Social Workers, co-working cases as necessary.
• →Develop care plans that reflect the views and wishes of children and young people.
• →Maintain detailed case records and produce required reports.
• →Ensure statutory duties are fulfilled in line with legal and Service requirements.
• →Pursue professional development to meet HCPC and Service standards.
• →Comply with Council Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
• →Meet the requirements of Lancashire’s Progression Policy.
• →Work towards Practice Education qualification for student Social Workers.
• →Perform other duties as needed to support the Service.
